Yes, we ship all orders to the contiguous 48 states free of charge. All packages over 1lb. ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground and should ship from the warehouse within 1-3 business days. Smaller packages (under 1 lb.) are shipped via First Class Mail. Delivery dates for all products are dependent on USPS and UPS. We are only able to ship to the contiguous 48 states. If multiple plants are ordered at the same time they may not all be delivered at the same time.

To check on the status of an order, sign into your account using the email address and password entered during checkout. Click “ORDERS” from the menu. You may email if you have additional questions but please allow 24 hours for a response and please be aware that we have the same visibility into order tracking that you do. NOTE: Currently most carriers are not scanning packages except at the point of origin so tracking information may be delayed or limited even though your package is on its way to you.

At Planterina.com, your new plant comes to you direct from the greenhouse where it was grown—unlike most retail houseplants, which have suffered through days, weeks and sometimes months of being re-shipped and stored in warehouses. What’s more, you will also be able to find tons of plant care and styling inspiration on our site and in our social media.
Yes, your plant will look like the plant pictured on the product page. However, as with all products of nature, variations in size, shape and color are to be expected and are part of the plant’s beauty. And remember, these plants are bred to thrive and will become more lush and beautiful over time given the proper care. Please see our Plant Care section for more information on how to best care for your new plant.
At Planterina, we support the idea that there is beauty in imperfection. We have intentionally select items for the site that reflect a handmade aesthetic. Many of our white glazed ceramic pots, for example, will have slight but noticeable variations in color, texture, size, thickness and finish. Our grey terra cotta pots may appear slightly brown and then turn a much darker grey once they become saturated with moisture. We consider these variations to be valuable components of most of the items we select.
Our white glazed ceramic pots are “cover” pots, and the plants in growpots are meant to drop right into them. To water the plant, simply lift the grow pot and water under a faucet or over a sink basin. Keep in mind that overwatering is a killer and most houseplants prefer to dry out between waterings! Please be sure to inspect your package and plant immediately upon delivery. Should your order arrive damaged, email a photo of your damaged order to along with the order number within 24 hours of receiving the delivery. We’ll happily replace your order or issue a credit for irreversibly damaged plants and pots.
